Data Protection Officer
Our Data Protection Officer is Louis Sirico. You can reach him at [email protected] with any question about this notice or about personal information we hold.
Scope
This notice covers scrt.network only. It does not cover the Secret Network blockchain, any wallet or application built on it, or other sites we link to, which operate under their own terms and notices.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit a form, we receive the details printed on it, such as your name, email, company, and message. Submitting the form sends those details to Framer. When you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include.
- Information collected when you visit. Cloudflare serves the site and receives connection data, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the time of each request, so the page can be delivered.
- Cookies and embedded video. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Talk pages embed a YouTube player, and when it loads, YouTube receives your IP address and browser information and may set cookies or store data on your device.
- Information from other sources. We do not buy or receive information about you from other sources in connection with this website.
This site does not ask for identity documents, biometric data, payment details, or wallet keys, and we do not use your information for automated decisions or profiling.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- Replying to your form or email, based on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
- Delivering and protecting the site, based on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
- Showing talk videos. YouTube processes player data under its own notice.
- Meeting legal obligations, where a law requires us to keep or disclose information.
We will not send you newsletters or promotional email unless you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.
Who receives it
Framer receives what you submit through a form. Cloudflare receives connection data. YouTube receives data when a talk player loads. Their notices are the Framer privacy statement , the Cloudflare privacy policy , and the Google privacy policy .
We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Framer, Cloudflare, and Google process information in several countries, including the United States. When information about people in the UK or EEA leaves those regions, these providers rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us which safeguards apply to your information.
How long it is kept
This site does not keep its own copy of a form submission. Framer, Cloudflare, and YouTube keep what they receive under their own notices. We keep an email long enough to handle what you asked, and no longer than the law requires.
Security
Every page is served over HTTPS, and access to form submissions and our inbox is limited to the people who handle them. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information through the form.
Data breaches
If a breach puts your rights at risk, we will notify the relevant authority within the time the law sets, which is 72 hours under the GDPR, and we will tell you directly where the risk to you is high.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to our use of it. Write to our Data Protection Officer at the address above, and we will respond within one month.
If you are in Tanzania, including Zanzibar, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission. If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office . If you are in the EEA, you can complain to your supervisory authority.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will say so on this page.
