We’re now accepting submissions for our Q3 grants cohort! If you’re interested in building a project on Secret Network, this is a great way to get some initial funding and development support.

Q3 Cohort Timing

Since we’re already several weeks into Q3, the timing for this cohort will be slightly different than past cohorts. We’re formally announcing the opening of submissions today and will be accepting submissions until mid-August. We’ll aim to announce the finalized list of grant recipients at the end of August and will kick off project development at the beginning of September.

Milestone-Based Funding

We use milestone-based funding for our grants program to ensure projects are able to deliver on their goals. In most cases, mainnet deployment and some amount of usage of the product will be required to receive the full grant. These requirements are open to negotiation.

Selection Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

• Benefit to the Secret Network ecosystem

• Relevance to the focus areas and the Secret Network Roadmap

• Innovation

• Team strength

• Preference for projects with prior funding from other sources

Code Licensing Requirements

Open-source projects with non-restrictive licensing, such as MIT, Apache 2.0, 2-Clause BSD, or similar licenses, will be preferred.
