We’re excited to announce a partnership and integration of Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer with Linea, a developer friendly zk-Rollup powered by ConsenSys! Through this partnership, Secret Network will provide Linea with decentralized confidential computing (DeCC) tooling, documentation, and support. This will unlock powerful new capabilities for applications in the Linea ecosystem!
Some examples of what this can enable are private voting for Linea DAOs, encrypted storage for Linea applications, secure random number generation for Linea games, confidential data access control via Linea NFTs, sealed-bid auctions for Linea NFTs and other assets, and encrypted order books for Linea DeFi applications!
By integrating Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer with Linea, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We’re excited to see what will be built!
What is Linea?
Linea is an innovative Layer 2 scaling solution, representing the evolution of ConsenSys zkEVM. It provides a seamless developer experience on Ethereum with native integrations with MetaMask and Truffle. Linea utilizes zero-knowledge proofs for faster transaction speeds and reduced gas costs while maintaining security. It offers flexibility and scalability for developers to build new dApps, or migrate existing ones without extensive code changes. Linea aims to scale Ethereum while supporting and engaging with the broader web3 community.
